Supporting financial loss after an horrific tragic event

Hi, my name is Mim. I am wanting to raise funds for my best friend Leanne.

Leanne very fortunately survived the horrific attack that took place on Durley Chine Beach, Bournemouth on 24th May 2024. The other woman sadly lost her life, our thoughts and deepest sympathy lie with them.

Leanne sustained life-threatening injuries and underwent 7 hours of surgery, my thanks go out to all the medical staff who took care of her. As a result Leanne was left with limited mobility and five weeks on its proving a very slow recovery physically and mentally.

Leanne is a single mum to 3 children and has a new baby grandson.

Leanne is also small business owner and worked as a beauty therapist in her own beauty salon before this incident, a job that she was very passionate about and worked very hard to achieve. She has not received any financial support offered by any services/government in these circumstances.

Leanne is unable to work for the foreseeable, of which her business could be at jeopardy, her focus is to recover and I’m asking for small donations to pay her monthly business rent so that her livelihood and everything she’s worked so hard for is also not taken away from her.
