Supporting Gary Lietz: A Heartfelt Call for Help

I'm sure a lot of you are wondering what's going on with Gary. It is with a heavy heart that we bring you this update on his current situation. Gary, a talented tattoo artist and a loving member of our community, recently suffered a catastrophic heart attack known as "the widow maker" on Sunday, May 27th. This devastating event caused him to code twice, but thankfully, the medical team was able to resuscitate him and bring him back.

Gary's battle, however, is far from over. One of his arteries was completely blocked, necessitating the insertion of stents. Additionally, he has other blockages in his heart that are proving difficult to remove. His heart is currently operating at about 10-15%. To address these concerns, he is undergoing treatment with an experimental drug called Entresto, which comes at a significant cost of $700 per month (unable to be covered by insurance).

Furthermore, Gary may require a bypass surgery, which would also be costly. The road to recovery will be long and arduous, and it is uncertain when he will be able to return to work and regain his income. While his insurance will cover a portion of the already accumulated hospital fees, the out-of-pocket costs are, and will continue to be, substantial. He will need our support during this challenging time.

Gary is not just an exceptional artist but also an individual who cares deeply about his customers. He pours his heart and soul into every tattoo, ensuring that each piece of art carries a personal touch. Moreover, Gary actively contributes to charitable causes, demonstrating his generous nature and willingness to help others in need.
