Be a hero for Greg: Support his fight against Cancer

Dear friends and kind-hearted strangers,

We are Stella and Larry.

Today, We’re coming to you with heavy hearts and a plea for help.

Our dear friend Gregory Clary, a selfless and compassionate soul, faces his second round of cancer and truly needs support for his upcoming surgery and recovery.

Greg, the epitome of strength and resilience, has always been there for us – and We suspect you, too - offering a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, and brilliant insight.

This time, We don’t want him to do it alone.

Presently, his insurance company is unclear on what exactly they will be covering after having declined coverage for what his Doctors feel is absolutely necessary. In fact, We had to pay for a CAT Scan out of pocket to prove to Anthem and Liberty that the surgeries were absolutely necessary. The Doctors cannot begin work until they are guaranteed payment. Greg is in need, pain, and despair with needless frustration.

His out-of-pocket cost of this surgery and treatment is estimated to be between $20-25k, which includes removing the tumors and grinding down his remaining dental work, including filling perforated sinuses with bonegrafts, then eventually dentures.

Between his previous bout with cancer, time lost during COVID, industry strikes, and eight and a half years of caring for his parents… work for the Unionized, unfortunately, has not been flowing.

In addition to the surgery, Greg has been advised that his gums and jaw will need a minimum of four to six weeks of tough recuperation. That’s why We are setting up this GoFundMe campaign.

Greg is a fighter, but this time, We don’t want him to do the fighting alone!
