"Saving Lives and Families, One Driver at a Time" The SCF provides short-term financial assistance to over-the-road truck drivers when an illness or injury takes them out of work. Assistance can be in the form of direct payment for rent/mortgage, utilities, insurance, and vehicle payments. The SCF also provides free health and wellness programs for truckers including a tobacco cessation, diabetes prevention, chronic disease management, and at-home cancer screenings.
