Dear Beloved Family and Friends,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share a deeply personal journey that has recently become my reality. On January 9,2024, I was unexpectedly hospitalized, and the news I received was life-altering: I have been diagnosed with brain cancer. The shock and uncertainty that followed were overwhelming, but I am determined to face this challenge with courage, faith, and the unwavering support of my loved ones. We never know the hand that life will deal us as we journey through this thing called life. All we can wish and hope for is that as the wind kisses our cheeks that we can feel the breath of God giving us the kiss of life one more time.

As I navigate this new path that has fallen upon me. I find myself in need of assistance and help in various ways. I also find myself having to find strength in knowing that being vulnerable enough to say I need assistance is a strength in itself! The word "strong" has taking on a new meaning for me lately. I am also comforted in knowing that God has also allowed me to see and feel with each prayer, text message, word of encouragement, visit and surprise gifts through the mail what having a village really embodies, not only for myself but also for my daughter Billie Nicole as well.

The burden of medical expenses, transportation costs, daily living essentials, and ensuring my daughter’s well-being weighs heavily on my heart. I am reaching out to you, my cherished family and friends, with vulnerability and hope.
