Supporting Ishraq and Son in Memory of Sabrina

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and compassionate individuals,

It is with deep sorrow that we share the devastating story of Sabrina Rahman, a vibrant soul who tragically lost her life on Shadywood Drive in south Austin, Texas during the recent series of shootings. Sabrina, just weeks away from celebrating her 25th birthday, had only been living in Texas for about a year moving from Surrey, British Columbia Canada. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and an everlasting love for her family.

Sabrina's husband, Ishraq Islam, describes her as "the friendliest, kindest person... just a sweet angel." She was not only a loving wife but a devoted mother to their precious baby boy. On that fateful day, Sabrina, with her son in a stroller, witnessed the unimaginable violence that unfolded around her.

As she returned home from a walk with her baby, Sabrina saw a handyman down the street gunned down in broad daylight, displaying incredible courage and quick thinking. In an effort to protect their son, she reacted swiftly, running to a neighbor's house and hiding her son's stroller behind some chairs. Tragically, she faced the assailant head-on, and her life was taken from her in an act of senseless violence.

Sabrina's family is now left grappling with the aftermath of this heartbreaking loss. Ishraq wonders why no one was alerted about the danger, emphasizing that a single message might have altered the course of their lives. Despite the immense grief, the family is determined to honor Sabrina's memory by raising their son with the same love and dedication that she poured into every moment of his life.

In the face of this tragedy, we come together as a community to extend our love, support, and financial assistance to Ishraq and their son during this incredibly challenging time. The funds raised will help alleviate the financial burdens that accompany such unexpected and devastating events, including funeral expenses and the ongoing care of Sabrina and Ishraq's beloved son.

Let us stand united in providing comfort, compassion, and solidarity to Ishraq and his son as they navigate the difficult journey ahead. No donation is too small, and every contribution makes a meaningful impact on their lives.

Please share this campaign widely, and let us come together to honor Sabrina's memory and support Ishraq and their son in the healing process.

Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support.
