Supporting Jamal Johnson and his Family
Donation protected
Early in the morning on March 31st, Jamal Johnson and his family received a phone call while not being home, alerting them that their house had caught fire. Upon arriving, it was obvious that the situation was then severe and that most of their family's resources had been sacrificed to the fire. Jamal takes being a hard worker, a student, a friend, a son and an older brother to his young sister and even younger brother very seriously. His happiness in life comes from making the people around him happy, and I know we speak for everyone when we say that Jamal and his family are genuine people. Please join us in raising funds for rebuilding their lives.
We understand that every one is struggling due to this pandemic and are sensitive to this situation. Please do not put yourself or a loved one at risk or feel urged to participate. We understand that these are impossible circumstances and that times are hard for everyone. We do not ask for anyone to compromise their health or resources.
While monetary values are important in this time, that is not the only way we as a community and as an extended family of theirs can help. Jamal and the family's clothing and other every day necessities have been ruined and any sort of donations along those lines would also be appreciated.
Please note that we are trying to give the family time to grieve what they have lost and to respect their privacy. We do not want to burden them with any sort of fundraising so keeping this discrete until we have something to share with them would be greatly appreciated.
Feel free to contact Hailey or Mackenzie with any questions, concerns or locations to drop or receive donations at this email: [email redacted]
