Supporting Jeff Bruce Through Alzheimer’s

My name is Charity Bruce, and I’m fundraising to help my in laws.

My father-in-law, Jeff Bruce, was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s a few years ago. Due to this disease, he is unable to work. He was the main income source for their family, and it has been a tremendous adjustment for my mother-in-law, Sherry.

Sherry is doing her best to provide financially to pay for their bills, but Jeff has began needing more intense care recently, which has made working more difficult. Since Jeff is not 65 yet, their insurance will only cover so much care. There are certain things that he needs to better his quality of life, that have to be paid for out of pocket, and are not easily attainable.

With the donations from this fundraiser, Sherry will be able to move closer to family, as well as get Jeff the appropriate care he needs to be able to manage this disease.

Jeff devoted the majority of his life to ministry; serving as children's church pastor at their church, preaching in nursing homes, children’s shelters, and prisons. We know God has a plan and a purpose for this diagnosis; and will use it to bring glory to his name. They have three sons, and nine grandchildren, and we wish to better the quality of life for both of them, so they can enjoy their family as much as possible!
