Supporting Jeremy & Rachel
Donation protected
Update: Rachel wrote the following and wanted to thank each and every one of you.
“Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it. “
I have no words, only a lifetime of gratitude for all your love and support.
Jer is my soulmate, the love of my life, and my hero. He is the most amazing Dad to his three beautiful children and two beautiful step-children. He is a loving and cherished Son, Brother, and Uncle. He loved his friends as family, and truly made this world a better place daily. May will all live with Jer in our hearts and continue to make this world a better place.
With so much love and gratitude,
Rachel
Update: Jer passed away last night. His organ donation saved four lives.
On Monday, 9/25, our friend Jer Kiefer was involved in a car accident with a tractor trailer and another car. He sustained a traumatic brain injury and has been in an induced coma since hospitalization. His injuries include a broken sternum, back, femur, crushed hand, bruised heart, substantial brain injury, and collapsed lung. His wife and our dear friend Rachel, is not able to work during this time as she cares for her husband. I am collecting money to cover Rachel financially so that she can continue to support her children, Gavin and Daphne, in addition to medical expenses. Thank you in advance for anything that you can donate. Jer is the kind of man who would do anything for anyone else. In addition to monetary donation, I am asking you to consider praying/meditating/manifesting the miracle that this good man deserves.
