Supporting Johnny "William" Taylor on His Road to Recovery

Dear Friends,

I’m Coach Nick Stavropoulos, and I lead the boys' soccer team at Avondale High School in Auburn Hills, Michigan. I’m reaching out to share the story of one of our senior leaders, Johnny "William" Taylor, who was tragically shot at a house party on November 3rd. Johnny’s injuries are severe and will require extensive therapy and care as he begins his recovery.

Johnny, who recently emigrated from Honduras, has already shown incredible resilience in his life. This year alone, he earned All Region, All District, and All OAA honors in soccer. His strength and determination have been an inspiration to us all.

Now, as he faces this challenge, we are committed to supporting him in every way we can, helping him regain his health and finish high school. We ask for your help in supporting Johnny’s recovery journey. Any assistance—whether through donations, words of encouragement, or simply sharing his story—will make a difference.
