Supporting Justin & Kim Bair

After a very extensive neck and throat surgery, Justin was diagnosed with throat & tonsil cancer on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. For those of you who know Justin & Kim, they are two of the most thoughtful, caring people in the world. Although being on the receiving end of these things is out of their comfort zone, we are asking you to help us raise funds to financially support them during this time. Justin will start radiation 5 days a week and chemotherapy one day a week very soon. He will have a feeding tube surgically inserted soon, as well. While we are still waiting for some pathology reports and other tests to come back, we are unsure of how much they will be able to work during this time.

For those of you who know Justin & Kim, they own a Fishing Camp in Canada which is their primary source of income. During 2020 and 2021 the Canadian borders were closed to US Citizens (which make up over 80% of their clients). This is the first summer since 2019 that their camp would be open to US Citizens. Justin, Kim, and their 3 kids were scheduled to leave the day after Austin’s graduation to open the camp on May 26.

Justin and Kim have 3 teenage children. Their oldest son, Austin, is graduating High School just a week after his dad’s diagnosis. It’s been an extremely emotional week for our family. We ask if you are able to bless Justin & Kim financially we are extremely grateful. More importantly we ask for your constant prayers specifically for healing for Justin, for peace for Justin, Kim, Austin, Krista, Lucas, Justin’s parents, family & close friends.

If you know Justin, you love Justin. He’s one of the most loving, smart, hilarious, giving, and caring people on this planet. And if you’ve ever been on the receiving end of Kim’s humongous giving heart (which I know there are hundreds of people who have) you know how giving, thoughtful, caring and loving she is. Kim has also spent years as a Hospice Nurse giving peace and comfort to her patients and their families. There is no one on the planet more giving than her. (I don’t think my kids have ever been sick and not gotten a hand delivered care package from their Aunt Kimmy.)
