Supporting Kathy in a time of need

Kathy & her husband Rich were just returning from a lovely cruise vacation that they had spent months planning & saving for. What seemed like a beautiful day & happy ending to an amazing vacation ended in tragedy as Rich suffered a severe heart attack as they were approaching the Port of Tampa. He was rushed to Tampa General Hospital where he passed away not long after arriving. As if that wasn't enough Kathy returned home to find out that Norwegian Cruise line drained her bank account of all funds even though she had taken out a medical insurance policy with Norwegian Cruise Line upon booking the cruise reservation. They do not own credit cards and this was all the money to their name.

Kathy is now left to pick up the pieces, not only is she simply just trying to get through each day without her husband by her side she also has to worry about managing their home and all of the bills that go along with it. They have lived on a fixed income and with medical bills beginning to roll in as well as trying to plan for the memorial service she is finding herself completely overwhelmed.
