Supporting Keith Lytton

On Tuesday, February 19, 2019, Keith  (34 years old) was rushed to Carilion New River Valley Medical Center with an excruciating headache and vomitting. Within 10 minutes a CT scan was performed and he was flown to Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Upon arrival he underwent an emergency surgery to place two tubes to drain csf fluid from his brain. It was determined that he had a rare Colloid Cyst in his brain which blocked his ventricles and caused his cebrinal spinal fluid to back up and caused his brain to swell. The cyst also possibly hemmoriaged and he suffered a stroke. Two days later a crainiotomy was performed to remove the 2mm cyst.  Keith is still in the NEURO ICU in critical condition. He continues to suffer from "Neurostorming" and was recently diagnosed with pneumonia.  He has not yet fully woken up or opened his eyes.  Keith continues to be aided by a ventilator to assist with his breathing and a feeding tube for nourishment. His brain injury sustained from this cyst will take many months to heal. We are praying and believing for God to heal him completely; however, we know it will be a long journey ahead. 

Keith, the sole provider for his wife Ashleigh and 8 year old son Caleb, worked at MOOG in Blacksburg, Va. As you can imagine, there will be numerous medical expenses as well as other living expenses during the upcoming months.  Ashleigh has not left his side and has been unemployed since the business she was working for closed last year. So many people have reached out and asked how they could help so I am setting this up to help offset these cost and help his family. Keith has the biggest heart and has helped soo many people out and been a  good friend to many. Hes a hard working man, who works many overtime hours to provide for the  family who he loves more than anything. Please continue praying for this young family and that Keith will soon make more progress in his healing. Also, keep his family in your thoughts and prayers! Thank you!
