Supporting Kenzer's Mental Health Journey

Hello everyone. My name is Rebekah, and I am reaching out to you today on behalf of an incredible person named Kenzer, who has courageously decided to prioritize his mental health and seek necessary medical care and support. This has, however, put him in a challenging financial situation, as he now needs assistance with paying rent and caring for his two dogs, Luke and Henry. We are asking the wider community to rally together and support Kenzer during this critical time.

Kenzer is a resilient and determined person who has faced years of trauma. Despite these challenges, he is incredibly kind and empathetic and can light up a room (or a whole building) with his laugh. He is an incredibly detailed story teller and loves to read and dance. Kenzer has a great sense of humor, especially in tough situations, and always knows how to bring joy to those around him. Those who get the privilege of being in his presence feel his light through his words and actions.

Navigating his journey as a trans man has meant encountering repeated discrimination and adversity. Every day he is surrounded by individuals who do not see him for who he is and treat him as lesser because of it. These experiences have made a significant impact on his mental health, and he has recognized the need to prioritize his well-being and survival. In order to focus on his recovery, Kenzer made the difficult decision to take time off work. This choice has resulted in a loss of income and financial strain. Kenzer is now struggling to make ends meet, particularly with rent and incoming medical bills. No one should have to choose between taking care of themself and having enough money to live.

We are reaching out to the wider community to ask for your support in helping Kenzer during this critical period.
