Supporting King Walker
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Yuvonda Gallon and I am the grandmother of King Walker. This account was created on King's behalf to support him through the untimely death of his mother, my beloved daughter Alonna Gallon. On September 21, 2023, Alonna was tragically killed at her place of employment (Toyota Dealership in Albany, Ca) by her child's father after making a conscience decision to distance herself from him due to his reckless behaviors. Alonna tried to the best of her individual abilities to create a healthy coparenting relationship with King's father but it unfortunately didn't stop him from brutally taking her life. In response to this horrendous act, King's father was also killed by the police leaving him to mourn the loss of both parent's. This tragedy leaves behind a child who will need not only the support of his close family, but of the community around him.
Alonna was a 24 year old young woman who was the light of not only her friends and families lives but of her young son, King Walker. Alonna was an incredibly kind, caring, shy, and goofy young lady who had a lot of love to give and more life to live.
As one could imagine, losing a mother so tragically is devastating for any one, especially a young child whose as close to their mother as King was to his. Alonna was the kind of mother who always put King's needs before her own and dreamed of a life where she'd send her son off to college and support him through his transitioning stages of life. Alonna declared to be the best mother she could be to King from the very moment she found out she'd be a young mother.
This account will help to support King in accomplishing not only the dreams his mother had for him, but to help him financially navigate through the life he wants to create of his own. Your support and donations will contribute to college expenses, therapy sessions, and extended enrichment programs such as football and basketball (King's favorite sports). Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time out to support King. It takes a village and you've become an extension of the village King will need to help him navigate through such a devastating time.
