Supporting Kristen Heitmann's Road to Recovery

It is with a heavy heart that I am reaching out to you to share the devastating news of my dear friend Kristen’s recent tragic fall. Kristen, a devoted wife & mother, is passionate about spending quality time with her family, and friends, and her work as a part-time physical therapist for children with disabilities. In addition to this, she also enjoys staying active through exercise and has suffered a severe head injury because of this fall.

Kristen had undergone multiple surgeries to address her injuries & will need another. Each day as she continues the battle through her therapies, she is improving but Kristen has a long road to recovery ahead of her and she will need all the support she can get. The costs of medical bills, rehabilitation and ongoing care are immense and every donation, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping to cover these expenses and ensure Kristen receives the best possible care. In addition, Kristen's husband Jon needs to take family leave from work to care for her during her recovery. This means that the family will also be facing a loss of income during this time.

As a community, we can come together to support Kristen and her family during this difficult time. A mantra that has been helping Kristen and her family stay positive is "A little better every day." With your support, we can help Kristen and her family move forward, one day at a time.
