Supporting Lisa in her fight against cancer

Hi,

My name is Helena, I truly appreciate you taking time to read this story. As most people know my beautiful best friend Lisa Fawcett has been diagnosed with grade 3 AAA negative breast cancer, which unfortunately is one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer.

Everyone knows Lisa for the strong, vibrant and kind person she is. A mum of two boys, a daughter, a friend to many, and an amazing nurse. Lisa is the most selfless person I know, always offering a hand, a shoulder to cry on or a smile to whoever is in need. Never putting herself first.

The news of cancer has come as a shock to all of us who know Lisa. She has been told within the next few weeks she will soon be starting intense treatment, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy and undergoing an operation. As a result she has also been told she will be unable to return to work for a considerable amount of time.

I wanted to start this go fund me to help support Lisa with her fight against cancer and to show her that we are all in this together with her. Any form of donation would be greatly appreciated. Supporting her financial pressures during this difficult time would be one less thing for her to worry about. We’ve also agreed she is going to have the best possible wig!!
