Supporting Lorrayne
In January Lorrayne Johnson was taken to the hospital after suffering an adverse reaction to Lisinopril, a drug used to treat hypertension. While in the hospital she had to undergo emergency surgery on her spine.
All told she was hospitalized for a month. She is just beginning to walk
with the assistance of a walker. It is uncertain if and when she will be
able to return to work.
Professionally, over the course of her 40 year career as a social worker she has helped countless families, often at reduced fees or no cost.
Personally, she had one biological child but has helped raised several
children both inside her home and outside. She is passionately
dedicated to children and child welfare .
Due to the ongoing length and degree of her incapacitation she has exhausted her savings and is currently in dire need of financial assistance. Her most pressing needs are assistance with rent and medical
expenses.
Please consider donating whatever you can to help. Any amount will be helpful and will be put to good muse.
