Help Support Mariah Jerido (Stage 4 Breast Cancer)

We have come together to support this Warrior our Beautiful Queen during this journey. Friends and Family are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Mariah Jerido with her permission.

Many of you reading this already know who Mariah Jerido is. For those who don’t, and fate has led you to this page, she's an Author, Model, Producer, Network Owner, College Planner, Empowerment Life Coach, a mother of five, daughter, friend, sister, aunt, grandmother of twelve, three great-grand and advocates for traumatic brain injury (TBI) overall a phenomenal person and so much more!

We want to share her story with everyone. Words cannot express just how amazing, and kind-hearted she is on her journey as a leader and entrepreneur over 30 years in the community of Charlotte North Carolina, 10 years in Atlanta Georgia, was making moves in Jacksonville Florida, and is well-known on social media. Those who know Mariah understand she loves her supporters, Fans, family, and friends in such high regard. Mariah lights up people's faces because of her presence in the room bringing smiles to everyone. Mariah knew she had to continue being great on her journey, support people on her platforms, and share her testimonies with the world. Throughout the years, unwavering love and dedication have been the anchor that kept Mariah together, especially considering the challenges she faced in life that no one knew about the sacrifices and the pains she endured all while building herself back up from a near-death car accident in 2003. Mariah feels eternally grateful to have so many people rooting for her on the outcome of her journey in life.

On Thursday, June 29th, 2023 Mariah woke up feeling a lot of pain in her right shoulder and right side of her chest. This pain was like no other. Mariah decided to get to the hospital by car and once there she also decided to tell them about a lump under her left armpit. The hospital gave Mariah an x-ray and sent her home in an arm sling with a prescription for shoulder pain and an antibiotic for the lump. Days later Mariah started feeling better but on July 9th Mariah woke up again in pain Mariah's goal was to go to church she stated, then to go back home and relax if the pain wasn't as bad but it was about time church was over Mariah's pain was escalating and when she got home Mariah had to call 911. Mariah stated the pain was taking over her body and she could barely walk, talk, or sit up. The Ambulance came and rushed Mariah to the hospital breathing was getting hard to breathe because of the pain moving toward her lungs even her blood pressure went up. Again Mariah told the same hospital and the same problem she was having again! But this time around the pain was unbearable. They ordered a CT scan and an MRI to be done while controlling the pain and Mariah's blood pressure was 195/95. Hours later a doctor came back to tell Mariah she had cancer in her liver, vertebrae, and around and in her lungs. Mariah expressed how tears were enough to fill a 2 oz cup. They admitted Mariah into the hospital to conduct a biopsy but she was released before the biopsy came back and was told to see the cancer specialist they provided her.

On Thursday, July 20th Mariah received more devastating news from the cancer specialist that she was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic Breast Cancer, one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer and it was on her bones too. The cancer has already spread to the lymph nodes, liver, vertebrae, and around the lungs making the journey ahead even more challenging. She is now unable to work the job she was working Because of her battle against cancer. This road to recovery will be long and difficult, but Mariah has faith that with God's strength, and the help of supporters, families, and friends, she fears not and will face this challenge head-on with a strong spirit. Mariah has decided to take this leap of faith. No one is prepared for the diagnosis of cancer. The purpose is to help Mariah alleviate the financial burden caused by this dreadful disease and to support covering some living arrangements costs, Holistic natural foods, and additional bills In these trying times and expenses.
