Supporting Michelle Through Her Cancer Journey

Dear Friends,

As you know Michelle is an incredible mom, passionate animal lover, friend, business woman and has the most beautiful smile that can brighten any room. It's at this time I ask that you help support her in this unknown chapter of her life. Michelle was diagnosed with cancer of the breast last week. Since then it has been a whirlwind of diagnostics & putting plans in place to receive treatment. She has HER-2 type of cancer and they are hitting it hard with chemo for 18 weeks starting Wednesday Nov 23rd. After chemotherapy she will undergo surgery. Her care is taking place at the University of Vermont. She has a great team helping her and has been so thankful to have a network of supportive of friends, family and community through this overwhelming time. She is trying to be positive and knows that she is in good hands with her oncologists. She is also supporting her body and spirit through nourishing foods, supplements, and practices she feels best support her through the process.

In Oct 2020 Michelle opened Rolling Meadow Natural Pet Market to fulfill her dream of helping pet owners access and become educated on holistic nutrition care for their pets and connect with other passionate pet owners. Rolling Meadows is her many years of work in the veterinary field and studying pet nutrition & deep love for animals all come together into a career that she deeply cares about. Michelle plans to utilize funds to hire someone to help her in the store so that she can focus more time on her healing journey. She also has two children Franki & Henry aged 12 & 6. These funds will help her to relieve the stress and pressure of finances so that she can also focus on being more present with her children through this process and having things be disrupted for them as little as possible. Her focus is asking cancer to kindly get the f out of her body, supporting her body through it with positivity and strength, supporting her children through this process that will be trying for them & keeping the shop afloat so that she can come out the other side and continue doing what she loves full time. There is also a lot of cost with supplements , good food and self care that are an important part of staying positive and keeping the body strong through chemo. Thank you to this amazing community who has already been so supportive and positive. Michelle has been really fast tracked so she apologizes if you are hearing about this indirectly!
