Kelvin Kheng was born August 4, 2006 in West Sacramento. A beaming boy in 5th grade, Kelvin loved Transformers, Legos, and had a deep curiosity and love for sea life, particularly sharks. He will be remembered for what his mommy called his huge “bunny smile,” his cheerful personality, and warm devotion to his siblings.
Julie KaoChong was born May 5, 2008 in West Sacramento. A bright, social, friendly girl in fourth grade, Julie knew everyone. A lover of reading, writing, and drawing, she will be missed and remembered for her infectious laugh and playfulness, confidence, curiosity, and love of new experiences.
Baby Lucas Kong entered this world on January 16, 2017. Born in West Sacramento, Lucas was a joyful, content baby who rarely cried, loved baths, and making faces at his mommy over his crib. He was just learning to say “mama,” crawl, and eat his favorite food, apples. He will be remembered for the beauty of his sweet spirit and unending love for his mother and siblings.
Kelvin, Julie, and Lucas are survived by their mother, Mai Sheng Vang, grandparents Rob, Lizzy, Mai, and Chee, aunts, uncles, and countless friends at school, church, and in the community as a whole.
Kelvin, Julie, and Lucas deeply touched many lives with their joyful spirits and vast hearts, and those who knew them will miss them every day for the rest of their lives."
