Supporting Mr Aylett's Boys

In October 2022, the Marshgate Primary School community lost an exceptional teacher and leader, a beloved colleague and an inspirational human being.

Henry Aylett was a beacon of excellence within and beyond the classroom. His impact on both children and adults will be forever felt.

During the London Marathon of 2022, Henry's wife and eldest son, Casper (6 years old) were along the route cheering Henry on as he did what he loved so much - running. Tragically, Henry became seriously ill a couple of miles from the end and never recovered.

While the loss for Marshgate was immense - the loss for his wife Kate and two young sons is heart-breaking and immeasurable. Kate, Casper and Archie (4 years old) were utterly adored by Henry.

The Marshgate community is seeking to raise financial support for Henry's boys as they face their future without their Daddy.

Casper, although only six, has begun to share with Kate that he would like to "...become a teacher like Daddy".

We want to support Henry's boys and we ask that despite these difficult financial times, we come together in gratitude for what we have, gratitude for all that Henry has given, and contribute to ensure the dreams Henry had for his boys' future can be realised through collective generosity.
