Supporting Mrs. Lynch Through Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
Mrs. Lynch's second-grade class has set up this fund to help support their amazing teacher, who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive, fast-growing cancer. Her extensive treatment plan involves chemotherapy followed by surgery, radiation, and other treatments. During the treatment, which will span months, she will be unable to work because she will be immunocompromised, and the treatment side effects will weaken her system leaving her too sick and fatigued.
Since 2015, Mrs. Lynch has been doing fertility treatments to try and have a family, which the doctors believe caused her cancer. In addition, with this type of cancer, she will never be able to carry a child. Her only options will be adoption or surrogacy, both of which are extremely expensive and out of her financial reach. A testament to her courage, Mrs. Lynch is sharing her private story in hopes that it might help others.
These funds will help pay for many of the medical expenses not covered by insurance and other needs, as she also doesn't know when she will be able to work again. Thank you for contributing whatever you can to support Mrs. Lynch, who has taught at Kensington Parkwood Elementary for over eight years.
