Supporting My Sister’s Brave Heart - Post Surgery

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Strangers,

We are reaching out to you today with a heavy yet hopeful heart to share the incredible journey of our beloved sister, Saray, who has been battling a heart condition since birth. With over 30 surgeries under her belt, her courage and strength have been nothing short of extraordinary. From the tender age of just two weeks old, Saray faced her first surgical procedure, and since then, she has bravely endured a lifetime of medical challenges.

Today, she is undergoing a life-changing surgery to replace veins and her functioning pacemaker, along with one of her pacemakers, which has been in her body since the age of two, without ever functioning correctly. She has had two pacemakers for years (one never working). This surgery is a significant milestone in Saray’s life, one that we hope will bring her much-needed relief and improved health. However, we also know that the journey does not end there. The post-surgery care and recovery phase are crucial, and we want to support her in every possible way - financially, physically, and emotionally. As you can imagine, the medical expenses and the costs associated with post-surgery care can be overwhelming.

With her firsthand experience, Saray understands the significance of mental well-being alongside physical health, and she is committed to addressing both aspects through her non-profit.
