The Community Shop, Inc, of Rockport, Texas

Located in Rockport, Texas, the Community Shop, Inc, is a Texas nonprofit corporation. It has previously been known as “Shop” or “Community”. It’s 40 year history and mission has been to support the area non-secular, nonprofit organizations by providing monetary grants. We are proud to have funded over 6 million dollars in grants during that time. In, 2024 alone, we returned $436,600 to the local community in grants. We have been able to award these funds, by selling gently used household goods, clothing, and numerous other items that were donated to us by our generous community. We have been increasing successful due to our committed volunteers, who have dedicated countless hours of their time in our shop.

Since, May 2024, we have been unable to generate sales revenue that would have normally covered our expenses and funded our grant program.

We have recently identified a new location and are diligently working to get the building customized for our needs. The relocation and startup costs affiliated with this move has been substantial and ongoing. To continue our honored tradition of turning your donations into grant funds, we are seeking your help with Community Shop’s relocation and startup costs.
