Mike Norton is no stranger to the Miami Hockey Brotherhood, having both played and coached for the Miami Hockey program. In addition, he has been a part of the Miami Summer Hockey School staff for over 30 years and currently serves as the Director of Hockey for the Goggin Ice Center at Miami University.
Mike had a very unexpected heart attack on Tuesday August 4th and is currently in critical condition. He had two major surgeries in the first 48 hours which has allowed him to fight. He continues to make improvement but is not out of the woods and has a long road to recovery.
