Supporting our colleague David Schor

Dear Colleagues,

As some of you may know, our colleague and friend David Schor, has been away from the office over the past several weeks. Out of respect for his family's privacy, I won’t share specific details, but I can share that one of his adult children is facing a very serious medical condition.

David has been an integral part of the Guardian US team for many years. Whether it’s his welcoming us in the morning or his seeing us off at the end of each day, David's steady presence has been the cornerstone of the New York office. His candor, sense of humor, and deep commitment to our safety and well-being have left a lasting impact on all of us.

In light of what his family is going through, many of us have been asking how we can help. One meaningful way is by easing the financial burden of what are likely to be significant medical expenses. To that end, we've set up this GoFundMe as a gesture of our support.
