Supporting our friend, Manyang ‘Big John’ Manyok

Our friend, brother, and fellow crew-member Manyang ‘Big John’ Manyok is currently in need of support from our community. Manyang has been a pillar of the downtown Salt Lake City Trader Joe’s for many years. His bright smile, positive energy, and constant ability to make all those around him laugh has brought nothing but joy to our store, and we are all so lucky to have him with us. This past year, Manyang’s wife has been diagnosed with cancer, and Manyang has been tirelessly taking care of her, while also working his many jobs to support his family. We want to show our brother as much love and support in his time of need as he has shown our community all these years. If you have been lucky enough to spend any time with Manyang- be it working alongside him as he sings early each morning, watching him scoop up customers at checkout, or even dancing to his favorite tunes in the backroom, - please consider helping our dear friend, or even sharing his story.
