❤ Supporting our Lise after Kev's Passing ❤

Not going to lie, this one’s hard to write… but for the love, support & concern for the time needed for our friend to grieve, here goes..

Lisa has had quite possibly the hardest of years just gone – and now, she is expecting at least another several more very difficult ones to come. As a community, we are creating this Go Fund me to help with costs at such a sad and unexpected time.

In February 2024, all of our communities, friends and families were rocked beyond belief by the tragic passing of Lisa’s Grandchildren Macey and Riley. Our communities from Kalgoorlie to East coast, Online, and International, were so generous in their fundraising and support for Lisa’s Daughter towards her healing and coping through the most impossible of times.

Now, on January 5 of 2025, in a flash - Lisa experiences tragedy and newfound grief again on top of her existing sadness for her Grandchildren, as she now lost the love of her life, her ‘partner in shine’ - Husband Kevin Blair on Sunday the 5th unexpectedly. Kevin was the heart and soul of the room.. he was Lisa’s Best Friend, and we are all so so sad to hear of his passing.

At a time like this it is so difficult for all - What do we even say when grief arrives on top of grief and becomes compounding?
I know many of us have struggled to comprehend how this feels and what to say or do… but we all want to help in some way.

I know it's hard to measure the timeframe of grief - Does grief ever go? For those of you who have experienced grief – you’ll agree it doesn’t. It lingers a lifetime, but those first years are the hardest.

Experiencing 3 tragic losses inside the space of just 10 months, all of which were so sudden and unexpected it can be easy for those of us ‘looking on’ to see that she is going to need some Grace - emotionally, physically, and financially whilst she works through this.

After so many requests and reach-outs from you in the community asking how you can help, (thank you ❤) I have created this shared space where you can choose to donate if you wish, whether it be a little or a lot to help ease the burden so that Lisa doesn’t have to focus on generating a huge income as she now unpreparedly becomes the primary person in her home and whilst she navigates this way forward.

I have selected an amount as the platform suggested, but know that in no way does this mean this is the exact dollar amount for her ‘time off work' or her grief, it’s just what I selected and I don’t truly know what she will need.

All I know is, the more we raise, the more time and space presents itself without stress – and that is exactly what Lisa needs right now - space to breathe where there currently feels like there is so little - for a woman who impacts people and her community around her so profoundly.

Lisa and family – we are here for you and we will continue to be here for you, and I hope this helps.

Love ALL OF US.
