Supporting a family due to a house fire

Hi, my name is Louise Quinn, I am Headteacher at High Well School. We are a Local Authority maintained specialist provision for pupils with SEND, specifically Social Emotional and Mental Health needs, based in Pontefract West Yorkshire.

Yesterday one of our families were victims of a house fire which has completely gutted the whole house and left them with nothing except the clothes they were wearing at the time. Fortunately, no one has been hurt in the fire. The children are aged 6 months, 2 years, 11 years and 15 years old. High Well School would like to try and raise funds for the family who are suffering not only from the trauma of this event but also knowing that they have absolutely nothing left. Please consider donating, however small, so we can provide some support to the family.

The funds will be used to support meeting the family's basic needs in the interim and also anything that will be required when they are rehoused.
