Supporting Paul E. Rocha Jr.’s Legacy and Final Farewell

Donation protected
With heavy hearts, we share the sad news of the passing of Paul E. Rocha Jr. on August 31, 2024, at the age of 46. Paul was a man of immense resilience and kindness, who faced many challenges throughout his life with quiet strength and determination. Though his journey was marked by hardship, he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Now, as we come to terms with his loss, we are seeking your support to honor Paul’s memory and ensure he receives the farewell he deserves.

Paul’s life was not an easy one. Born on June 13, 1978, in Olongapo City, Philippines, and raised in Norfolk, Virginia, he endured a childhood marked by adversity, facing both verbal and physical abuse. Despite these difficulties, Paul remained strong, though the weight of his past led to a lifelong struggle with alcohol. While he fought bravely, this battle ultimately contributed to his untimely passing.

Throughout his life, Paul was a loyal friend and devoted family member, always willing to lend a helping hand. He found solace in the simple joys of fishing, landscaping, and caring for his beloved dogs. Though he had little in terms of material wealth, Paul’s generosity knew no bounds—he was always ready to share whatever he had with those in need.

In the wake of Paul’s passing, his family faces not only the emotional toll of losing him but also the financial burden of arranging his final farewell. We are hoping to raise $3,500 to cover the costs of his funeral and memorial services. Our contributions will help ensure that Paul is laid to rest with the dignity and respect he deserves.

Paul’s life was a testament to the power of resilience and the importance of compassion. He may have struggled with his own demons, but he never wavered in his loyalty to his friends and family. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, reminding us all of the importance of kindness, generosity, and love.
