Support Phoenix, Mimi and Family through this hard time
Donation protected
Mimi and Phoenix have been through way too much over the last several years, and with this GoFundMe we're banding together to show them some support. Every donation, no matter the size, will be so deeply appreciated.
Phoenix survived Stage 4, double-hit Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2021 and has been diligently on the road of healing and recovery. Mimi has been the most amazing partner anyone could wish for in such a circumstance, endlessly supportive and tirelessly caring--but she is very tired. As a crucial support person working full-time, a second job and giving 110% every day in every way, Mimi needs support too. ♡
Phoenix made an amazing recovery and had just finally found a great job that he was excited about and was a good fit for his energy levels post-recovery. He had been there only 3 weeks when he was in a terrible quad accident as a passenger riding with Mimi’s 14-year-old son Jude at Phoenix’s parent’s cabin on July 19, 2024. Jude was very lucky and suffered minor injuries, but is going to be limping around and needing help with daily activities for a while. Phoenix on the other hand will unfortunately have a long road to recovery with his past medical history and past injuries.
This was a terrifying, painful and traumatic experience, cutting short their family vacation. Mimi, Phoenix's Dad, Step-Mom, son Logan and step-son Jude didn't know if Phoenix would survive. He had to be air lifted to hospital due to the severity of his injuries, which caused hemorrhages in his brain and lungs. He hit his head when he was thrown, which required stitches and gave him a serious concussion. He broke 4 ribs, his collar bone and nose and is extremely beat up. We are so grateful he is still with us!
With the cost of the ambulance, hospital parking, inability to cook meals, the many lost hours of work and lost hours of sleep, (with Mimi spending every moment possible at the hospital) they are beyond the end of their ropes.
Things were already hard after the years of him battling and recovering from cancer on a limited income, while going through the hardest teenage years with their kids and at this point this family deserves and needs some serious rest and relaxation, and that requires meaningful community support.
Let's give that to them! ❤️
Every donation makes a difference! Mimi and Phoenix have touched so many lives; let's all show them our love and support.
Thank you so much!

Update- Please note that GoFundMe provides an option to check a box when donating to give a 17% tip to GoFundMe-- this is not required at all and does not go towards Mimi and Phoenix in any way.
