Supporting remote Indonesian communities
Our Indonesian staff, friends and travel partners are severely impacted by the
lack of tourism due to the global covid pandemic. As we close the doors from selling tours and supporting their community ecotourism model, due to financial challenges, we want to ensure we provide our community partners with 1 year of income and help them during such difficult times.
Many of you have had the special opportunity to visit our Indonesian community partners and I am calling on you to help me raise these critical funds to say
thank you and contribute towards their family income and livelihoods, as tourism has ceased.
I will donate 100% towards three communities that are really doing it tough.
Our team in North Sumatra who have had this devastating news of closing down
tourism from Raw Wildlife Encounters, live in Tangkahan and Batu Rongring and struggle now with a lack of financial security.
Our friends in Mentawi at the Indigenous Education Foundation, that relied on tourism to support their cultural identity are also struggling.
I ask you to help me raise $10,000 so we can send this to each of the communities and continue to support them during such challenging times.
I hope you can share and also get behind me to make our last tourism impact a
reality.
Thank you for your incredible words of support and motivation that has helped provide so much for our grassroot communities.
