Supporting Sandy Zayachkowski as she mourns the loss of Ben

On May 16, 2024 our community suffered the devastating loss of a spectacular man.

It is with tremendous sadness that we grieve the loss of Ben Zayachkowski.

Ben gave so much of himself to our community through his support of the Williams Lake indoor

Rodeo and many other organizations. Ben was one of the original Williams Lake Indoor organizers and volunteers dating back to the first Indoor Rodeo held at the Trail Riders Arena in 1990.

Ben served as a volunteer for over 15 years being the main organizer who ran the Entertainment & Beer gardens.

Ben passed away suddenly and unexpectedly leaving his family and friends in a state of shock and heartache. Ben’s passing has left an enormous void in the lives of his family & Friends. The greatest loss is felt by Ben’s loving wife “Sandy “who had the honour to call Ben her best friend and faithful husband. Sandy & Ben have shared a deep love for one another for the past 27 years.

As Sandy faces each day we hope to surround her with love & prayers and try to ease the burdens that she will be facing as she begins to adjust to life without her husband.

We are creating this Go Fund Me to help elevate the stress of the financial hardships Sandy will be facing due to Ben’s passing. Ben was a supportive husband who cared for his wife psychically, emotionally and financially.

Please join us in helping to raise support for Sandy in the best way that we possibly can during this difficult time.

Funds raised will cover funeral costs and help Sandy to maintain her household expenses for a period of time as she grieves the loss of her soulmate.
