Dear All,
We, the family of Shalma Morris, come to you with heavy hearts yet steadfast hope. Shalma embodies a remarkable spirit characterized by unwavering faith in Christ and an unparalleled commitment to service.
At 41 years old, Shalma is not only a devoted mother of three, a loving wife, and a cherished daughter, but she is also a sister to 12 siblings and an aunt to 15. As an immigrant family, Shalma courageously shouldered the responsibility of being our breadwinner upon immigrating to the US. Her sacrificial support has been the cornerstone of our family's stability, providing not just shelter, clothing, and nourishment, but also enabling her siblings, nieces, and nephews to pursue a high school education. Her generosity transcends familial boundaries, extending to her dedication as an ER technician turned RN, and her unwavering commitment to community outreach programs.
Shalma exemplifies stewardship in its truest form – a beacon of selfless service and compassion. Her steadfast belief that ‘five loaves of bread can feed thousands’ guides her every action. Despite facing financial challenges, Shalma has never wavered in her gratitude to the Lord nor allowed herself to succumb to adversity.
Tragically, Shalma has been diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma, a condition that requires a treatment plan not covered by her insurance. In this time of need, we humbly reach out to our community for support.
Your generous contributions will directly fund Shalma's cancer treatment and recovery, offering her the chance to continue her invaluable service to others.
For those unable to contribute financially, we kindly ask that you share Shalma's story with others, spreading awareness and garnering support in any way possible.
Thank you sincerely for your compassion and generosity. May the Lord's blessings be upon you all, as we navigate this journey together.
Warm regards,
The Family of Shalma Morris
