Supporting Sonia’s journey to recovery and healing

Hello Family and Friends,

I hope this message finds you all doing well. I’m reaching out to share some challenging news about my sister, Sonia. She has been diagnosed with cancer and is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment.

Initially, we were optimistic and hopeful that she could get through this without complications or outside help. However, having never experienced something like this before, we have found it to be more difficult and unpredictable than anticipated.

My sister is incredibly strong and independent, but this experience is really testing her physically, emotionally, and financially. She has faced complications that have required her to be in and out of the hospital multiple times, which has made it impossible for her to work. She is almost out of sick leave and is worried about how she will get by. So far, this journey has been incredibly challenging, but she is a warrior like our mother and all of the strong women in our family before her. I have no doubt that she will overcome this.

However, as a result of her treatment, she is facing significant medical and living expenses that are becoming increasingly burdensome. To help alleviate some of these pressures, we have set up a GoFundMe campaign aimed at raising funds to help cover her medical bills, and essential living expenses while she focuses on her recovery.
