'Please help me keep Steepers'
Steepers is a retail store specializing in selling high quality loose leaf teas, rooibos, fruit & herbs and common herbs, along with hot and cold drinks. The store is becoming a destination due to the quality of the teas and has repeat customers. Social media rates it 4.5 stars and up!
It opened in October 2013 in the downtown area of a small up-and-coming town - Campbell, CA. Unfortunately, the up and coming town hasn’t quite arrived yet and the commercial rents are too high for retail businesses. Sadly, just about every retail business that has opened up after me is no longer in business. I’ve tried unsuccessfully to get a business loan but no luck.
I haven't as yet received a salary and it has taken all the money I possess to bring it up to profitability; without funding I risk getting too far behind in rent and bills, as well as not being able to stock the shelves for the upcoming busy season, of which December is my busiest month. If I can get through until next February, I believe the store will have arrived!
It saddens me to have to ask this, but your help will enable me to better restock the shelves, purchase new types of tea, pay bills and if there is anything left, pay down debts. If you prefer, you may want to visit steepers.net and/or check out the teas for sale online.
So I thank you all in advance and as Noel Coward famously said “Wouldn’t it be dreadful to live in a country without tea?” #smallbusinessrelief
