Original Go Fund Me Fundraiser:

Dear friends, family, and members of our larger community, 

On May 2nd, our dear friend Steven Wong was very suddenly diagnosed with advanced gastric/stomach cancer. With an unbelievably aggressive cancer, it progressed quickly. We are working to create a fund to support CiCi and their 3 young boys into the future.  As they navigate this unimaginable situation, we hope this financial resource can help support their family.

A bit about Steve’s legacy… 

In addition to taking care of his own family, Steve plays an active role in supporting his loved ones– always the first to help out when someone is in need. Steve is a staple of our community. He is selfless, generous, always leads by action and in constant service of others – whether it’s shoveling his neighbours’ driveways, boosting dead car batteries, or rushing to deliver heaters to a neighbour when their furnace burnt out. He always shows up. 

As a father of 3 young and active boys, Steve is also an ever-present fixture at the local arenas, as a volunteer coach of a number of community sports teams. 

 Steve’s wife CiCi is also known far and wide for her immense kindness and generosity - endlessly supporting those around her, while fostering and creating an online community to help moms and young families. CiCi now shoulders the role of parenting three kids and supporting Steve in this difficult journey ahead.
