Supporting the Branson Family Post Liver Donation
3/20/2020 UPDATE:
Below is a link to an article written about Zach & his journey by NBC news!! I know I speak for all involved when I say how thankful we are for each and everyone of you and your support. Please keep sending all the prayers and love as you can as we search for a miracle for Zach!
3/15/2020 UPDATE:
Due to the current events surrounding Coronavirus, Zach's living donor transplant has been POSTPONED at this time. Unfortunately, with the liver he has now, Zach has a "technical life expectancy" of between 30-45 days. Please, please, please pray that a deceased donor is located OR that the surgeons feel comfortable proceeding with the living donation from Troy within the next few days or weeks. Zach has waited for this his entire life & it is so unfair that this was ripped away from him
At this time, I will be leaving the GoFundMe page as is in hopes that the living donation will get the go ahead soon. However, if that is not the case, donations will be refunded.
PLEASE, PLEASE send all the prayers, love, and well wishes as possible to all involved!!
On March 25th, Troy Branson will be donating a portion of his liver to his nephew who has suffered from Biliary Atresia since birth. Because this procedure is considered elective and not for his health, he cannot utilize his short term disability. He will be out of work and income for approximately 12 weeks during this process. Please consider helping to relieve the financial burden on Troy and his family while they focus on his health and recovery as well as the recovery of his nephew. We also ask for your thoughts and prayers for everyone involved.
