Support the Cauchi's during Allen's cancer battle

On Monday, 10th July, My best friends husband Allen was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the age of 38 after feeling unwell for a few months.

He was very lucky to have a wonderful doctor who listened to his concerns and after several scans and blood tests, they were able to find the tumor fairly early. The first course of action was surgery where they removed 50cm of his large bowel. They also removed 69 lymph nodes and of those 69, 8 contained cancer.

After a week recovering in hospital, Allen is now home recovering and doing well but does need chemotherapy to ensure that any cancer that might remain in his body is eliminated.

I want to create a fund-raiser to help raise some money to ease the financial burden on the Cauchi family during this difficult time. Allen and his wife Eden have already lost wages during the surgery and recovery and will continue to need time off for chemotherapy and supporting Allen once his treatment is done.

This family, including their 3 children have already been through enough & the financial strain of having a disease like cancer is something none of us thought would of been the case.

Eden has always been the type of person who will help anyone out i hope we can all come together and help support this amazing family.
