Supporting The Duckworth Family

Dahlonega Country Day Academy is starting a Go Fund Me account for The Duckworth Family. We will be posting some details below as to what the family is facing. We just want the community to uplift them in any way that we can, even if that is just a prayer going up. The funding will go to help with medical expenses, missed work, etc.

Please keep one of our own in your thoughts and prayers. Kaleb Duckworth is the son of Amanda Duckworth that works at DCDA in the baby cottage. Kaleb was involved in an altercation last night that has left him in intensive care with severe brain trauma. The doctors have come in and told Amanda and Tommy that Kaleb needs a miracle. We have faith that God can and will see this precious family though this trial. Amanda, Tommy, Tristan, and Kaleb we love you here at DCDA you are our family, and we are surrounding you in our thoughts and prayers.

As of right now 7/26/2021 at 5:01 pm Kaleb is still fighting for his life. The doctors are not giving this sweet boy much hope but we are all believing in the power of Jesus!

Kaleb Thomas Duckworth went home to be with Jesus on 7/27/2021. We are still raising money for The Duckworth Family to help with expenses going forward, missed work, medical bills, etc.. Amanda, Tommy, and Tristan are thankful for the abundance of love they have felt from the community. Please continue to pray for peace and comfort in the days to come! 

7/29/2021 @ 2pm Kaleb was given an honor walk as he was taken into surgery to donate his organs saving up to 5 lives. Kaleb will be remembered as a true HERO!
