Support the Family of Fallen Wildland Firefighter
My name is Arnold Sicairos,
I've been the neighbor of our fallen wildland firefighter since I moved to Medford, Oregon just over a year ago with my two boys. He was the first person to greet me when I moved into the neighborhood and even lent me tools when I was still awaiting for my household goods to arrive... He was a honest, humble gentleman who cared for those around him. My wife and I are heartbroken over the news of his death today. He was called out with others from Jackson County to assist in Lane County fighting against the Gales Fire (Article/Story can be found here.) In the line of duty, Frumencio Ruiz Carapia. A 20 year firefighter veteran made the ultimate sacrifice.
My wife and I went to give our condolences... just seeing the pain/grieving this family is going through broke our hearts even more.
We offered the family our services and to come knocking at our door for anything though, my wife and I decided to take action. We are hoping the Citizens of Jackson County and acquaintances may come together whether it's to donate $1, share this to your friends, even a prayer of healing for the family. Anything is sincerely appreciated.
100% of the proceeds will go to his wife Alejandra Gonzalez and children.
