Supporting the Family of Jason Soyster

Hello, I'm Jennifer. While I'm the one behind this GoFundMe page, there are many more friends and family of Jason Soyster who, like myself, are deeply affected by the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved friend and colleague. We are all profoundly saddened by Jason's untimely passing. In these trying times, we are coming together as a community to offer our support to his family and ensure a brighter future for his two young children.

About Jason - he joined Knott’s Berry Farm in 2013 as Manager of Communications, coming to Cedar Fair from Disney. Three years later he was promoted to Director of Marketing and Sales at California's Great America (CGA). In 2021, Soyster was promoted to his most recent corporate role, overseeing Marketing and Brand Communications for Knott’s and CGA.

Jason was more than just a colleague; he was a friend, mentor, and a beloved member of the Cedar Fair family. His warm smile, dry humor, unwavering dedication, and infectious positivity touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family and always put them first.

In his personal life, Jason leaves behind two beautiful children who meant the world to him. We want to honor his memory by ensuring that they have the resources they need for their education, well-being and a secure future. All funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will go directly to a trust fund dedicated to them.
