Supporting the family of Kirsten Westbrook

My name is Lisa Murphy. Kirsten Westbrook was one of my best friends. On June 11, Kirsten Blom Westbrook, mother of Jaelyn, Christopher and Alexander, and wife to Christopher Westbrook, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Kirsten was a fiercely dedicated parent, daughter, sibling, aunt, cousin, and friend to all. She never met a stranger and made everyone feel at ease and welcome in her presence. Her loss has been devastating to her family and loved ones because she was the glue that held them all together.

Kirsten was an exceptional person who touched the lives of many with her vibrant personality, unwavering determination and genuine kindness. Kirsten was a strong supporter of her communities, volunteering for many causes - in particular helping at her kid’s schools, cub scouts, and providing meals for those in need. She was passionate in her role as an officiant and was a strong supporter of marriage equality.

We now have the opportunity to return the giving and kindness she shared with so many, by helping her family at this time. This GoFundMe campaign was started to provide financial support for her family, and to help with funeral, moving, and medical expenses that were incurred of late.
