Supporting the Family of Lance Jolley
Donation protected
After battling gastric cancer for the past 15 months, on March 5, 2023, our amazing brother, Lance graduated—he passed the ultimate test!
From the moment he was first diagnosed in November 2021, until the moment he took his last breath, Lance handled this trial with the upmost, grit, perseverance, hope and ultimately faith. It may sound trite to say, but he never complained (though he had every reason too!). He was just grateful that this trial brought his family closer together.
His wife Amy, and their three children, Spencer (Jules), Ella, & Libby were his entire world!
Even though he was so, so very sick, he worked as much as he could through his sickness to ensure his family would be cared for at least a little bit longer upon his passing. Despite his grim diagnosis, He desperately wanted to extend his life and did several rounds of chemo and other treatments which left him desperately ill and with terrible side effects. When given the opportunity to stop treatments, he insisted he wanted to keep fighting to help teach his family the importance of never giving up—even when things are hard!
I think it’s safe to say that he never gave up and the legacy he left behind will be blessed as a result of the lessons he taught.
At this time, we as a family are so grateful for our knowledge of eternal families and for the hope that we will get to see Lance again someday. We find peace in the thought of the reunion that must’ve happened with his sister, Gina, and his Dad, Mike!
Though we are at peace knowing he is rid of his body that caused him so much pain, we are still deeply saddened for his wife (who is now left to be the sole provider) and for his children.
As the medical and funeral costs are astronomical and the families future expenses are unknown, we would be so grateful for any donations to help alleviate the families burden during this time so that they can focus on grieving and healing.
Any funds raised will go directly to his wife Amy to help cover these expenses.
