Supporting the Family of Shawn Barber

Shawn Barber was a graduate of Kingwood Park High School and a member of the University of Akron track and field team. Shawn was a three-time NCAA pole vault champion, as well as a Canadian World Champion. He was a dedicated student, athlete and overall great man.

Shawn tragically passed away on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 due to medical complications.

As a colleague of Shawn's mother, Ann Barber, I am organizing this fundraiser to help the family pay for funeral expenses. Please consider donating to support the Barber family during this difficult time.
