Supporting the Family of Stacy Kuhlmann

On Friday, April 14th, 2023, Stacy Kuhlmann died in a 1 vehicle accident.

Stacy was a 53-year-old husband and father, leaving behind his wife Catherine and their children Paige and DJ. To know Stacy is to love Stacy, and this loss is felt in the hearts of so many. He was the epitome of selfless service. He put the welfare of his family, the community, the fire department, and his teammates before himself, serving others loyally without any thought of recognition or gain. He was truly a remarkable man and was taken from us way too soon. Stacy brought joy to all our lives with his great sense of humor, positive attitude, silly antics, and kind heart.

Stacy served as a Captain with Fredericksburg Fire and EMS for 33 years. He was a valued member of the department who served with professionalism and compassion for others. His contributions to the department, the fire service, and his community were numerous and his legacy of selfless service will live on.

Please consider helping his family in their time of need. Naturally, we are all wondering what we can do to help as we deeply care for Catherine, Paige, and DJ. We don't know the full extent of their needs yet. As we learn of additional opportunities to support them, I will pass them along.

The immediate need will be help with funeral expenses. The Kuhlmann’s were a two-income family so this loss will certainly be challenging for Catherine. I've created this GoFundMe campaign to help with the family’s immediate financial needs. The funds will also be used to establish education savings for Paige as she pursues Nursing school at Texas A&M University and life dreams after she graduates in June.

The funds received through this GoFundMe will be directly deposited into Catherine’s account to help with her immediate and extended needs.

Funeral services for Stacy will be Monday, April 24th at 1 pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 304 W. San Antonio Street, Fredericksburg, Texas 78624
