Supporting the Ginestra Family During This Difficult Time

The Ginestra family is deeply moved by your overwhelming generosity and heartfelt messages. Words cannot express how grateful they are for the incredible outpouring of love and support from the Hillsdale community. All funds will be transferred to Dom Ginestra to support the family’s needs during this devastating time.

Ali, Dom, Isabella, Victoria, and Little Dom are some of the sweetest, most loving people I’ve had the privilege of knowing. It’s no surprise that this community has come together so wholeheartedly to support them in their time of grief.

Our connection with the Ginestra family began in 2015, when our son Cruz and Little Dom first played flag football together at just five years old. I still remember meeting Ali for the first time at the Meadowbrook ice cream social—our boys quickly became best friends, and our families formed a lasting bond.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and love.

As many of you may have heard, the Hillsdale community has suffered a heartbreaking loss. Ali Ginestra, a lifelong Hillsdale native and a dedicated member of our community for over 20 years, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday evening.

Ali had an incredible heart, and her kindness touched so many lives. Whether it was through her unwavering support of Hillsdale Hawks Football and Cheer or the beautiful spreads she put together each year for Teacher Appreciation Week, Ali gave selflessly to those around her.
