Supporting the Victoria Hand Project
The Victoria Hand Project (VHP) changes lives and improves access to low-cost prosthetic care by partnering with organizations in developing countries and low-income countries. The team provides the tools (i.e. 3D printers and 3D scanners) and training to their partner organization in order to produce custom prosthetic arms. This helps create jobs in cutting-edge technologies in underprivileged communities and improves access to prosthetic care for amputees. The prosthetic arms are provided free of charge to people with the greatest need. Around the world, several hundred people have been fit with a Victoria Hand to date.
I’ve volunteered personally with the Victoria Hand Project and have seen the tremendous positive impact it has had on people’s lives. The cost of each prosthetic hand is $300 so I've set my personal goal to provide a prosthetic to fifteen individuals.
Thank you for considering a contribution to this cause, it really means so much.
