Supporting the Harms Family

I’m starting this fundraiser to support our dear friends, Alex, Tanya, and their two beautiful children, Ella and Bray.

On Sunday, Alex received devastating news—he was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with a large, fast-growing brain tumor. This has been absolutely heartbreaking for everyone who knows him, but especially for his young family.

Better known as “Harmsy,” Alex is the most devoted father, a wonderful husband to Tan, and a cherished friend to so many.

A few years ago, they made the big decision to leave city life behind, moving to a small country town in Victoria. There, Alex built a successful carpentry business, while Tanya worked as a district nurse.

He loves nothing more than ‘going bush’ with his wife and kids to go camping, hunting, fishing, swimming in rivers, spending time ons his boat and sitting around a big campfire.

Just two weeks ago, Alex had to stop working due to what we now know were early symptoms of this aggressive tumor. As he undergoes numerous tests and treatments, Tanya is juggling time between the hospital and their children.

As we all know, life’s financial pressures don’t stop when tragedy strikes. That’s why we are asking for your support—to help cover medical expenses, household bills, and everyday necessities, so Alex and Tanya can focus on what truly matters: spending precious time together with Ella and Bray.
